For 40 years AAA provided support to anyone with allergies or sensitivities. The charity closed in August 2020. This account will be monitored only periodically
We are sad to announce the passing of our immediate former Director, the indomitable Pat Schooling. Our previous trustee, @MBJtweets, has written this tribute. https://t.co/11K2lJyVNS
In memory of Pat Schooling, of @AAAllergy: a woman of incredible determination ... and without whom we may not have had @CallTheMidwife1! https://t.co/U8GwyIoEut
Not many editors are modest enough to tell you how much your articles taught them, but Pat Schooling of @AAAllergy, whose newsletter I contributed to for many years, was one of them. She has died, aged 93. Please read @MBJtweets tribute. #allergy https://t.co/gMQzq1AKVK
Pat Schooling died on January 20th at the age of 92. For 30 years she chaired Richmond Borough in Bloom competition, bringing together @LBRuT and gardeners from across the borough. A born organiser, Bloom was just one of Pat’s many activities and we will miss her hugely. RIP.
We are sad to announce the closure of Action Against Allergy. This page will no longer be monitored. Our website and its content will remain online for the immediate future. We extend thanks to all those who supported us. #allergy https://t.co/QMJ8VCsIHH

Thank you @Tesco and to all the #freefrom shoppers who have supported us in World Allergy Week. This is a brilliant result, so much good will from so many - an amazing result!
A terrific team-up! @FFFoodAwards retailer of the year winners @Tesco and FreeFrom Hero Award winners @NatashasLegacy launch initiative, to coincide with #worldallergyweek, to raise funds for #foodallergy research. Find out how you can help here: https://t.co/wmluzGfXxj
I meet disappointed parents every week who are told that I "will tell them what's causing their child's eczema"
Our meeting is set to fail from the get go due to the basic fact that #eczema is not 'caused' by allergy.
I share some thoughts here:

Natasha's Law - full ingredient labelling on all prepacked foods. It is "... enshrined in legislation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, will come into effect from 1 October 2021"
From October 2021 food like sandwiches and salads that are packed onsite before a customer orders them will require allergen labelling #PPDS. This will help protect consumers with a #FoodAllergy and enable them to make safe choices when eating on-the-go. https://t.co/MYaw7UkkMX
We have published the response to our consultation on technical guidance for prepacked for direct sale food #PPDS. The new allergen labelling rules will become law in England, Wales and Northern Ireland from October 2021. Be #AllergyAware https://t.co/MYaw7UkkMX
