Kevin Keegan returned an original LFC โno 7โ shirt to my mates brother as he was raising money for charity. He was asked if heโd sign it.
He returned it signed, framed and with an inscription confirming its validity.
He was, is and will always remain a legend. #LFC
Arne Slot has shown nothing but class in that open letter.
Itโs sad things have ended the way they have, but heโll always be the manager who brought us number 20. For that, Liverpool fans will be forever grateful. #YNWA โค๏ธ
I genuinely feel sad for him. I still can't process Diogo's loss as a fan. Arne dealt with the loss & all that ensued. ๐ Life is so unfair. Most of us wanted a change of manager esp when Mo announced his departure but Arne is part of the Reds family and it hurts ๐ค Ynwa Arne
Arne Slot in an open letter to Liverpool fans: โThat all of those emotions would culminate in a Premier League title after just 12 months was beyond special. It was not only a trophy, but a reward for the hard work, sacrifice and commitment shown by so many people throughout the club.
โIt was made even more meaningful because you got to enjoy it with us. Singing our songs, cheering the goals. And on the day we lifted the trophy, you were there. Lining the streets outside the stadium, filling Anfield in anticipation.
โHaving had much of that taken from you in 2020, it was never lost on me how much it mattered that you were part of it all.
โSeeing you come together in your hundreds of thousands on the streets of Liverpool for the title celebrations only reinforced that idea.โ
Heโll no doubt get loads of abuse from the helmets in our fanbase, say what you want about himโฆ But he is a man with class and humility who genuinely cares about the future of the football club.
Thank you for the memories Arne ๐ซก
Arne Slot, writing in today's ECHO: "I leave with complete confidence in what lies ahead. The players who have given so much to this club, who have upheld its values and helped create so many unforgettable moments, have built foundations that will endure." https://t.co/TOiTKKeIj3
Arne Slot in an open letter to @LivEchoLFC:
"As I leave this club, it would be remiss of me not to say that the way you honoured Diogo and stood together in his memory will stay with me for ever."
