Percent true. Use to be workers had to grind it out for years in the indies to sharpen their craft. Working bingo halls and high school gyms in front of 20 people making no money. They learned how to get over, how to get people invested in a 8 minute match in a town where no one knows who you are. Now they take young athletes like Sol Ruca, Jade Cargil, put a belt on them and watch them lose every bit of their shine in a matter of weeks.

As an ex worker I would guess (just a guess) that he is potentially struggling with lower back pain and herniated discs that could be causing weakness/pain due to nerve damage. Herniated discs pressing against the nerve in the spine can sometimes lead to permanent damage. Braun Strowmen has the same issue with one of his legs as well.

There is many reasons for why the current WWE is just mid in my opinion. 1. They no longer worry about ratings and commercial success in the “demos”. They are purely content creators being paid 7 billion dollars. They prefer to higher young talent with no experience, pay minimum salaries and rework new deals with seasoned works at lower pay with many rejecting. This all results in workers with no mic skills, horrible theme music and green skill sets that doesn’t get over. It appears that Triple H creative probably has to check boxes that pushes profit success over storytelling now that TKO is the owner. Thats why the fill up 30 minutes or more on the blood line and, Cody, Punk each night.

@utd_andre_ Nothing taken from Cain. However, Brock almost died of diverticulitis and had half his colon removed 12 months before this fight so I am sure he wasn’t at his best.

@goldpie11 Just às a side note, Lesnar had nearly died from a severe case of diverticulitis in late 2009, which required surgery to remove a portion of his colon. The fact that he was even able to compete 12 months later is impressive. Win or lose.

It’s not like he is the only one being treated as a mid carder/enhancement talent. He knew what he was getting into going back to WWE after his release during the pandemic. He is one year in on a two year deal. If they are jobbing him out now then his future endeavors outside wrestling may be coming soon and he may already realize it.

@Uc_heyy02 Fairly close to the book and I think the point of the anticlimactic ending is intentionally done to showcase his delusions of his own value in the fight against the black. Not sure why they left out the line in the book “I'll have no songs about how brave you died, Kingmaker."

It’s easy to pile on Nia. Is she a great wrestler? No… But for wrestlers, especially women, I can’t imagine the scrutiny they get from TKO and fans on how they look in the ring and on TV. Literally millions of people each week see you and post their comments. Social media is brutal. Look at the struggles Rhea Ripley is going through with body image issues. Do whatever it takes to make yourself happy.. Love yourself first others will follow
