AACAHC is not only a great place to learn about our history but it's also a great place to do your work. Whatever that work is for you, we have created a space!
As we approach our grand opening, we're looking back on some of our past events! We love celebrating the history and culture of Alamance County through concerts, balloon releases, walking tours, and more! What’s your favorite event we’ve put on? #grandopening
How much do you know about the history of AACAHC? The center officially became a non-profit in 2017 but was the result of years of work by Jane Sellars. Exhibits and artifacts are housed in our new location, which is open to the public next weekend! #grandopening
As we get closer and closer to opening our first physical location, we'll be going through a history of the center and some of the great events that have been put on in the past!
These photos are from Beating of the Drum in 2019!
We are currently accepting donations to help fund out mission of collecting and preserving African American history in Alamance county. https://t.co/6zyokKSGAR
