Making Makeup In Mrs. Usery's Science Class
What an amazing and fun STEM opportunity for students in Mrs. Kim Usery's science class at CHS! With the help of engineers and a chemist from L'Oreal USA, students had the chance to create and label their own shade of lipstick.
FHS students interested in becoming a firefighter, paramedic, EMT will get the opportunity to jump-start their career during the 2024-25 school year! FHS is offering college credit courses that would lead to jobs directly out of high school in these fields.

BRTC recently awarded the Greenbrier Vocational/Technical Scholarship to Wyatt King of Pocahontas. King is a 2022 graduate of Pocahontas High School and the son of Jeremy and Melissa King. He is currently seeking a degree in Industrial Maintenance.
