Punjab has remained at the centre of polarised conversations for far too long. But can we move beyond being merely pro or anti and begin speaking constructively about the many structural challenges the state faces?

That was the context in which @eknoorbajwa90 was introduced to me by an OCI friend. What followed were months of thoughtful engagement, difficult questions and serious efforts. The culmination of that journey took shape yesterday at Constitution Club, where Aad Foundation hosted one of the most constructive and candid conversations on Punjab that I have witnessed in recent times.

My gratitude to Abhishek Kapoor @itootweet for anchoring the discussion with balance and ensuring that voices from across party lines came together meaningfully. Thanking the Lt. Gov. of Delhi, @SandhuTaranjitS ji for his valedictory address.

This is precisely why public engagement matters to me. To create spaces where people can speak beyond routine talking points, where disagreement does not become hostility and where difficult issues are confronted with seriousness.
