As Somaliland Faces Economic Collapse and Clan War in Awdal, Its Leadership Seeks Legitimacy in Exchange for Dirty Bargain on Gaza!

__HARGEISA / WASHINGTON —In a move that has shocked Somalis across the world and alarmed defenders of international law, Somaliland leader Abdirahman Irro is embarking on a highly secretive foreign tour to the United Arab Emirates and Washington, D.C. — a tour orchestrated not by diplomatic protocol, but by the *Israel lobby, specifically AIPAC!

According to credible sources, Irro will first stop in the UAE before heading to Washington for meetings arranged by AIPAC-affiliated circles. This comes just months after Israel became the only country in the world to recognize Somaliland — a declaration that the Muslim world, the United Nations, the African Union, the United States, the European Union, and the entire international community have completely rejected, reaffirming that Somaliland is an integral part of Somalia.

This is not diplomacy. This is desperation for sale.

The Gaza Connection: A Land for Expulsion?

What makes this tour so dangerous and unacceptable is its timing and its hidden agenda.

Sources close to Irro's administration, who spoke on condition of anonymity, report that Israel is aggressively pushing its policy to find a third country or territory to absorb Palestinians forcibly expelled from Gaza.

And the Irro administration, which is struggling with total economic collapse, lack of international legitimacy, and renewed bloody clan fighting in the western Awdal region, is reportedly willing to listen.

The alleged proposal is as dangerous as it is immoral: Accept Palestinians forced to flee Gaza in exchange for diplomatic cover and financial support from the US via Israeli lobby groups.*

If true, this would mean trading the suffering of the Palestinian people for a fake recognition that no one respects.

A Leader Who Cannot Control Awdal Wants to Decide the Fate of Gaza

Irro cannot bring peace to Awdal. He cannot pay civil servants. He cannot provide basic services. Yet he wants to insert himself into one of the most sensitive crimes of our century — the forced displacement of Palestinians from their ancestral land.

This is a complete violation of Somali principles. Somalia, both its government and its people, has historically been firm: We stand with Palestine. “We reject forced transfer. We reject recognition in exchange for betrayal.” Said one Somali diplomat.

The Somali people in the North and South have always rejected any attempt to fragment Somalia. Now its self-declared leaders want to fragment the conscience of the Muslim world.

Washington and Abu Dhabi Must Know

The United States must be clear: Any recognition of Somaliland brokered by AIPAC in exchange for accepting displaced Palestinians would be seen by 20 million Somalis, 2 billion Muslims, and almost 7 billion free people of this world as complicity in ethnic cleansing.

The UAE, once seen as an Arab nation, is now on the dark side of history; it must not become a transit lounge for this deal.

Somaliland is part of Somalia. Its fate will be decided by Somalis, not by Tel Aviv lobbyists. And Palestine is for Palestinians. It is not a population to be shipped to the Horn of Africa to solve Israel's political problem.
