Your region has been burning of insecurity. Poverty & employment isn't a news because you're yourself unemployed. There was a time you yourself speak against the failures of the govt & vowed to stand against it not because of anything but because it has failed to attend to all our pressing needs!
Then boom! You were called to the table. Then you were handled some stipends or promises. Suddenly, your eyes closed. You are now OK with the thousands of lives lost daily. With the continuous hardship that yourself is a witness. With the flawed policies that haven't resolved any of our problems.
Our prayers to you is simple: May Allรฃh SubhanaHu wata'ala handle your affairs the way they have been handling the affairs of the nation. ๐คฒ

Dear youths,
Make politics no divide us ooo! na still we go need we for front ooo!โฆ Donโt allow these elders to use us and dump us for their own gains and our own losses.
Election is just a season; we have a whole life of positive relationships ahead of us. Because the scale of hostility and envy out there is striking.
Take am easy abeg!

Very senior Youth
If you sit at a table, make sure they talk about God, growth, business, dreams, and money. Not people! Your character is revealed by the conversations you choose to participate in and not about the person who isn't there.
Dear @renoomokri,
Flag your idiocy elsewhere, but don't bring it to where Muslims are, in Nigeria. We are absolutely OK with that. We are not competing for holidays with anyone. What stands out for us is, when it is time for prayers, we will go out and pray and then return to work. This is what the Qur'an clearly states in Surah Al-Jumuโah (62:9โ10):
Allah ๏ทป says:
Verse 9:
โO you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for the prayer on the day of Friday (Jumuโah), hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you if you only knew.โ
Verse 10:
โThen when the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land and seek the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah much so that you may be successful.โ
The priority for us is the prayers, and after completing the prayer, Muslims are encouraged to return to their daily pursuits in life; work, trade, or any jobs they do seeking Allahโs blessings.
So shift your dirty mouth and focus on your dubious hustle.
If you are not a farmer that cultivates, you'll never understand happenings in the sector now. Allow farmers to lament now. And allow consumers to celebrate ๐ฅ
One day, the consumer will cry, the farmer will celebrate.
That's the trend in economics. They'll have high prices and lower prices it's a matter of time.
So both camps should keep calm.
- What happens when the imported rice is finished in the market?
- What happens to our local farmers who lost their businesses?
- Is this helping the Naira?
- Many unanswered questions, though common man may not see the immediate consequences.

The FG wanted to crash the price of rice. Instead of subsidizing fertilizers, gasoline, and provide modern farm equipment for our farmers, they decided to offer import waivers, building other countryโs economy while our local farmers run at a loss.

Rising costs of agricultural inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, and labor are creating challenges. If next year's harvest is poor, the government may need to allocate over a third of its foreign exchange reserves to import food, essentially swapping fuel imports for food imports, a step backward.
Over 60% of Nigerians are farmers, yet those in government jobs or other industries often belittle them. When issues like insecurity, urban migration, and crime spike, people panic without recognizing the underlying causes, desperately seeking solutions that donโt exist.
Imagine how civil servants would react if the government replaced them with foreign workers or substituted local businesses with global giants like Amazon and Alibaba. This is a comparable scenario!
