New feature preview: Site Tracking is coming to EveryDose.
Injectable therapies are expanding; but injection site tracking is often unmanaged.
We’re introducing injection management directly into the medication workflow.

GLP-1s are reshaping how life insurers assess risk and price coverage, though poor adherence rates threaten to complicate underwriting decisions. According to a Munich Re study, patients without diabetes history showed less than 40% one-year adherence, compared to 60% among those with diabetes. Because long-term outcomes depend on sustained use, underwriting models will need to account not just for who starts therapy, but who stays on it.

Pharmacists do far more than dispensing medications. A recent Drug Topics article highlights the positive impact of pharmacist-led CGM programs in diabetes care:
"The clinical impact of this pharmacist-led synergy with technology is profound, as pharmacist-supported CGM services achieved significant A1c reductions ranging from -0.4% to -2.9%. This performance notably exceeds CGM care delivered without pharmacist involvement, which typically sees more modest reductions between -0.5% and -0.8%. For instance, one collaborative model reported a mean A1c drop of -2.5% compared to just -0.8% in traditional physician-centered care." which we can probably quote directly."
When pharmacists are empowered with the right tools and technology, they deliver better clinical outcomes. We should be designing care models that fully leverage their expertise.

Pew’s latest research shows that cellphone and smartphone ownership is nearly universal across all age groups. Among seniors, smartphone adoption reached 79% in 2024, with year-over-year growth in the double-digits.
For healthcare, this has big implications:
▶️Digital is no longer a “nice to have” for younger populations; it’s a critical channel across all patient segments.
▶️Strategies that ignore digital tools risk leaving patients behind and can miss opportunities for engagement.
▶️Medication adherence, education, and safety can (and should) be supported right in the palm of patients’ hands.
At EveryDose, we’re building for the reality that digital is no longer optional—it’s expected. By meeting patients where they are, we empower smarter, safer medication management for patients, clinicians, and organizations alike.
Interesting detail about Apple Watch’s new blood pressure notifications feature (released Friday): it doesn’t actually measure blood pressure. Instead, Apple trained AI on sensor data to detect patterns that may signal hypertension, then alerts the user. More from Reuters: https://t.co/xpNaWwuiBO
