I have freed myself of the requirement to be liked at all times, because being liked at all times by everyone is actually prison. And the reason why it’s a prison is because you are always one action, one word, one misstep away from people turning on you.
My heart is heavy, overwhelmed by grief and disbelief. The violence and loss we’re witnessing are heartbreaking. I feel sorrow for the families affected and frustration that this continues. But I also feel a fierce hope that together, raising our voices, we can demand change.
Nigeria is hurting deeply . The abduction of 25 schoolgirls, violent church attacks, and ongoing terror in the north break our hearts. We urgently need our leaders to act with strength and care-protecting our children, restoring peace, and giving hope back to every family.
