I commented on a Garba reel, and shortly afterwards, a Muslim guy DM’d me, saying that Muslims should also be allowed to participate in Garba. I told him that Garba is a religious event and that it is considered haram in Islam.

Then he suggested that Hindu girls should play Garba with Muslim boys and Muslim girls should play Garba with Hindu boys. I was shocked.

He then said he would allow his own sister to play Garba with one of my Hindu male friends, and in return, I should play Garba with him.

He was literally willing to compromise his own sister’s modesty just for a chance to play Garba with me.

This is genuinely shocking.
