He was in jail when his wife told him she had saved ₹10 from family’s ₹50 pension.

He didn't smile.

He wrote to the society & asked them to cut his pension by ₹10—and give it to someone who actually needed it.

When his daughter died during parole, he returned to prison before the leave ended. The parole, he said, was only to look after her. She was gone. His duty was not.

Years later, as Prime Minister, he took a ₹5,000 bank loan to buy a Fiat because he would not use an official car as his own.

He died before he could repay it.

The government offered to waive the loan.

His widow refused — and paid every rupee from her pension.

This was Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Power never raised his standard of living. It only raised his standard of duty.

He died (or killed?) in mysterious conditions in Tashkent after winning 1965 war for Bharat against Pakistan.

Even in their own statement, the UAE, which claims they want to combat Islamic terrorism, won’t even refer to the hijacking of THEIR plane as Islamic terrorism. Instead, the UAE is calling this an “incident”.

No, it wasn’t an incident. It was an Islamic terrorist attack by a jihadi, Omani pilot in violation of the Abraham Accords.

UAE still hasn’t released the name of the pilot employed by their airline.

This was an Islamic terrorist attack. UAE should just be honest about it, and aggressively condemn it and make Oman apologize to the world.

Is the Omani pilot employed by the UAE airline who hijacked a plane full of Israelis in violation of the Abraham Accords a member of a prominent Omani family?

Why are they refusing to release his name, aside from the fact that the UAE now has to explain how this violation happened?

Under the bilateral aviation agreement linked to the Abraham Accords, only nationals of countries that have diplomatic relations with Israel may serve as pilots on flights between the UAE and Israel. Using a pilot from a country that does not recognize Israel would violate that agreement.

Why are they refusing to mention his name?

The hijacker must be connected to a very powerful family. Maybe even a royal family.

​Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian national and former SpiceJet commander, was reportedly attacked and injured inside the cockpit by his co-pilot aboard Flydubai flight FZ1073.

​Despite the struggle, Captain Machchhar heroically regained control of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and safely made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, saving ~174 passengers on board.
