Today, the Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol) of the @UV_EG welcomed a delegation from @ICEX_ together with representatives from the Japanese companies Terumo, Rohto, Oji and Urban Development.
During the visit, several ICMol research groups presented their scientific lines, capabilities and transfer projects, strengthening links between research, innovation and international collaboration.

Nine Spanish universities launch the new Master in Advanced Materials, an official, interdisciplinary program taught entirely in English, committed to scientific excellence and international mobility. The program is coordinated by the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol).

Según el catedrático de Química Inorgánica de la UV y responsable de la colaboración española en el estudio e investigador, Eugenio Coronado, "este logro desafía los paradigmas clásicos de la química y abre nuevas posibilidades para el diseño de materiales de escala nanométrica con propiedades únicas, lo que podría tener aplicaciones en el desarrollo de nuevos dispositivos electrónicos, magnéticos o incluso en catalizadores para procesos industriales".
Coronado, también director del Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol) de la institución académica, ha resaltado que "se trata de un hallazgo fascinante que desafía algunos de los principios más clásicos de la química de coordinación y la reactividad de los metales de transición".
