استهزؤوا بصورته وهو يصيح دون أن يذكروا حكايته!
هذا شكيل أحمد بهات، الذي استعمل بعض المعادين للإسلام صوره للسخرية، وقدّموه بوصفه نموذجًا للغضب والتطرف الإسلامي، وطُبعت صورته على ملابس وأكواب ومنتجات تحمل عبارات مهينة.
وراء هذا الوجه إنسان وعائلة وقصة تستحق أن تُعرف:
شكيل ناشط كشميري يطالب بحقوق المسلمين في كشمير، و الذين يتعرضون لأبشع أشكال الاضطهاد و إغلاق المساجد والقتل والاعتقال منذ عام 1947.
تحدث في لقاءات صحفية كيف تعرض أثناء اعتقاله للتعذيب والصعق الكهربائي، وأن إصابةً في ذراعه جعلته عاجزًا عن حمل الأشياء، معتمدًا على إخوته لإعالته..
أخته عوملت بوحشية أثناء مداهمة أمنية لمنزل أسرته، حيث ذكر الكاتب باتريك فرينش أنها ألقيت من الشباك فكُسر عمودها الفقري، وتوفيت بعدها بسنوات وهي فتاة.
أما والده فضُرب حتى كُسرت ساقه، وبقي طريح الفراش بقية حياته.
ثم في يونيو 2020، توفي شقيقه هلال بينما كان شكيل مسجونًا بعيدًا عن أسرته.

وعلامَ كان يصيح في الصورتين المتداولتين؟في الصورة العليا، بتاريخ 19 يونيو 2007، كان يشارك في موكب جنازة ويردد شعارات مؤيدة لاستقلال كشمير.
وفي السفلى، بتاريخ 22 يونيو 2007، كان شكيل في مظاهرة تحتج على منح سلمان رشدي لقب فارس من ملكة بريطانيا مكافأة له على "إنجازاته" الأدبية، ومنها تأليف كتاب للطعن في نبينا عليه الصلاة والسلام!
وبالتالي لكل صورة مناسبةٌ وموقفٌ، وليست مجرد ملامح غاضبة بلا سياق.
والاضطهاد الذي تعرض له شكيل وعائلته يتم بتواطؤ النظام الدولي الذي تستخدم آلتُه الإعلامية صورة شكيل للسخرية والتندر والتنفير!!
تصور كم هو قذر أن يهجم بلطجية على بيتك ويسوموك سوء العذاب، ثم يلتقطوا لك صورة وأنت تصيح من القهر والألم ثم ينشرون صورتك لينفروا الناس منك ويجعلوك مادة للسخرية!!
هو درسٌ لنا لنحب إخواننا في الله ونألم لألمهم، ونعلم أن غبار أقدامهم خير من الساخرين الذين قد تكون مظاهرهم براقة، التي يختفي خلفها لؤم وخباثة وانعدام أخلاق!

A Haaretz investigation has exposed how Israeli prison guards beat Palestinian prisoner Thaer Abu Asab to death at Ketziot Prison in November 2023, his only offense asking whether there was a ceasefire.

The guards answered with a fatal beating, shouting "No ceasefire," then celebrated in WhatsApp messages later seized by investigators: "God willing, that son of a thousand whores will die," "we fucked them up so bad," "Boom, count. Boom, dead prisoner," and "Baby, an update: He's just died."

The messages, per Haaretz, reveal a routine of torture, with one guard boasting that any prisoner who "doesn't end up with a busted kidney" isn't let into the wing, and that senior officials sanctioned it as policy.

Settlers assaulted a car carrying a delegation from the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, on its way to offer condolences to the families of Omar Naasan and Khalil Abu Alia, who were killed on Wednesday during a raid on al-Mughyier.

The car was attacked on the only road leading to the village, which passes through the settler-infested Marj Siya Plain, which has become the site of near-daily settler attacks in recent months. The assailants severely beat the passengers with stones and clubs, and pepper-sprayed them, causing injuries to their heads, faces, and limbs. Residents who rushed to defend the passengers managed to bring them to safety but were unable to prevent the settlers from stealing the vehicle.

The settlers then attacked an ambulance that had come to assist the wounded, smashing one of its windows and injuring a medic, who sustained a minor arm injury. The men, who were reportedly all in their 50s and 60s, were evacuated to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah for treatment.

In response, soldiers fired tear gas at residents confronting the settlers and then into the village as they pushed residents farther and farther into the built-up area, allowing the settlers to advance. The army then established a checkpoint next to the village's boys' school and closed the village entrance, which remains shut.
