There is little choice left for the people of Pakistan.
Either remain silent while their chosen leader is imprisoned. Whilst his family is detained, his party is suppressed and justice is denied - or come out peacefully and exercise their fundamental right to protest.
You can arrest families and threaten people with violence. But you cannot imprison 250 million Pakistanis or crush the will of a generation.
No regime is more powerful than its people. The world must watch as the people of Pakistan come together to demonstrate their plea for justice, even in the face of threats of violence.
Inshallah, Pakistan’s future will be decided by its people, not by criminals who rule through fear.
Imran Khan's sisters arrested and detained and security forces seizing ministers in broad daylight.
The arrests come a week before a planned protest march by Khan’s PTI party.
Pakistan's Interior Minister said the government would do everything it could to stop the march.
Imran Khan's son has told Sky's chief presenter @MarkAustinTV that his family members have been arrested ahead of a protest march.
Former Pakistani prime minister Mr Khan has been imprisoned for more than three years.

The military regime of Asim Munir abducted Imran Khan’s whole family. His three sisters their children even little infants. This is cruel like Hitler. The world must speak. Shameful how western democracies close their eyes on all these violations of rule of law democracy human rights and freedom of speech. In Pakistan they are rather empowering this regime. The world must speak.
And it get’s worse.
My cousin Shahrez’s 2 children of 4 and 6 years old are now missing.
There is no limit to their cruelty. Complete disregard for humanity.
Today, my aunt, Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Her family and lawyers cannot reach her.
This is the behaviour of a fascist government - abducting people, terrorising families and trampling human rights, due process and the rule of law while pretending to stand for democracy.
First they imprisoned my father. Now they are coming after his family.
We demand immediate access to her for her family and lawyers, full disclosure of where she is being held, and her immediate release.
The world cannot keep looking away from what is happening in Pakistan.
Cricket legend Imran Khan is rotting to death in a tiny jail cell in Pakistan. It's time Britain used its influence to help free him

The Defence Minister is right. It’s why I have never been considered Jewish by the Jewish community. My mother was a Church of England Protestant. And by this logic, my father was not Jewish either. His mother was a French Catholic. As ever, in attempting to undermine my sons, Pakistan’s Defence Minister has scored an embarrassing own goal.

Pakistan is a failed state, with institutional collapse & a defunct civil society. This is no way to treat a former PM & Cricketing Great @ImranKhanPTI
I am amazed by the behavior of the #Pakistan establishment. For a month, the Chief Minister of a Province (#Pakhtunkhwa), hundred of thousands of Pakistanis across the country, the most popular political party in the country, and his family would like to reliably know @ImranKhanPTI's condition in prison including whether he is dead or alive. The establishment is refusing to transparently accommodate them. Shocking.

🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN'S DEATH RUMOURS EXPLODE: SISTERS DENIED ACCESS, JAIL SAYS "HE'S FINE," BUT NOBODY'S SEEN HIM IN WEEKS
The last 48 hours in Pakistan have been straight-up chaotic over Imran Khan.
Wild rumours hit social media yesterday claiming the former PM had been killed in Adiala Jail, some accounts even said his body had been secretly moved out.
PTI supporters lost it, thousands rushed the jail gates, his 3 sisters camped outside getting manhandled by cops, full-on riots vibe.
PTI says the last family/lawyer meeting was November 4, that's 3 weeks of total blackout, even though courts ordered bi-weekly visits.
Health-wise: Official line is he's fine.
Unofficial chatter from PTI circles is that he's lost serious weight, has vision issues, and there's growing paranoia over slow poisoning.
No independent doctor has seen him in ages, no photos, no video proof since forever, so the rumours keep cooking.
What this means for Pakistan's "democracy" is brutal: it's basically dead.
Imran still pulls 70-80% approval in every leaked poll.
Pakistan hasn't had a PM finish a full term in decades, and right now it's not even pretending to be a democracy anymore.
It's a straight military hybrid regime using courts, media, and everything it can to crush the one guy the masses actually want.
And until he's out and elections are free, Imran Khan's supporters don't believe they have a functioning "democracy," they see it as a military dictatorship wearing a cheap civilian mask.

Imran Khan is in illegal isolation.
People keep asking us about his health and safety, but the truth is, we have no access to anyone who can give us verified information. The media may quote “official statements” from jail authorities, but we do not trust a single word from them. The solution is simple….. follow court orders and allow his family, his lawyers, and his party leadership to meet him. The only reason we beleive him to be safe is because the authorities would not dare to hurt even a hair on Imran Khan’s head. They are well aware of the consequences of any such stupidity. He is the leader of at least 90 percent of Pakistan. They should definately fear the wrath of the Pakistani nation.
Our family and legal team last met him on 16th October, on the final day of his and Bushra Bibi’s jail trial. Since then, only our sister Dr Uzma Khan has been allowed to see him twice for barely 20 minutes each, on 28th October and 4th November, and only because we held protests and sit-ins outside Adiala. The last people to meet Imran Khan were Dr Uzma and Bushra Bibi’s daughter on 4th November. Since that day, we have been completely cut off, no family, no lawyers, and no party members have been allowed any access whatsoever.
Nine days ago, we were told that no one would be allowed to meet Imran Khan until Asim Munir receives his extension notification. We still cannot understand what our legal and constitutional right to meet our brother has to do with someone’s extension. Why is a family’s access being tied to government’s servant extension?
The complete denial of access to Mrs Bushra Imran Khan, whose appeal and application for suspension of sentence against a ridiculous conviction are not being fixed despite repeated approaches to the Isl High Court, constitutes torture and is meant to pressurise Mr Imran Khan.
