Abiy’s hypocritical, deceitful & delusional “grand narrative” nonsense demonstrates 2 things:
1) Abiy knows that he has completely lost the Ethiopian people and is now utilizing the proverbial “throw the kitchen sink” strategy to maintain his grip on power. Of course, with the ongoing popular resistance movement coupled with the advancing #Amhara Fano forces, Abiy’s futile gambit will prove a failure.

2) Abiy insists on continuing to insult the intelligence of the Ethiopian people. However, citizens now see straight through the chicanery of the charlatan.

More broadly, in today’s #Ethiopia, what is abundantly clear is that: Abiy has completely depleted his political capital and is nothing more than a lame duck. In this regard, his “medemer” philosophy has been discredited as vacuous and confused. He has demonstrated that he’s untrustworthy, deceitful, and delusional by attacking his allies, the Amhara Special Forces and Fano, and pushing his Red Sea agenda and saber rattling against his neighbors (Eritrea, Somalia, and Djibouti). The death toll in Gaza has risen to over 3,300.

Over 1,100 of those murdered are children.

This includes the following war crimes: collective punishment (blocking all water, food, power, & humanitarian aid), use of white phosphorus bombs (re: Human Rights Watch), multiple journalists killed, & multiple hospitals bombed.

Meanwhile a President who repeated debunked Israeli propaganda that incited a man to murder a 6 year old Palestinian child at home is still repeating trope filled propaganda and ignoring all calls to stop this madness.

Gaza is now out of fuel.

Whatever is left of their hospital system is about to collapse entirely.

With over a 1000 dead (hundreds being children), the wounded now have no treatment and aid has been shut off from all directions. Without electricity, the few voices from the ground will also disappear. What little remains of the now cut off water supply will dry up.

This is genocide. Every voice of conscience needs to raise awareness however they can and demand an end to this now.
