Please be cautious & aware! We suggest writers verify agency info using the contact info available on the agency’s official website, which many AALA members link to via their public profiles on our website: https://t.co/96FbdrEwBP
Writers: AALA has received reports from members that scammers are continuing to target aspiring authors, specifically by creating and emailing them from spoof email addresses.
For ex: by adding words like “literary” into an email address so that the aspiring author receives an email from [email protected] instead of from the real email of [email protected] or using “agents” instead of “agency.”
