@zeeg Okay makes sense. I will check how many of these diamond merges we actually detect with the queue. Our build time is long so it’s a huge cost/delay in the integration chain. But if your CI is red on master, you block new merges until guilty is reverted right?

@zeeg I am not convinced, I inherited the system and can’t wrap my head around another synchronization mechanism :/ Everything I am reading seems to point to merge queues as the solution to handle multiple concurrent merges in a single branch and avoid diamond merge.
