AT LAST!!!
After 40 years of uncertainty, we finally have a chance to own our forever home.
We need to raise Β£500,000 to purchase our building and secure the home of cinema history, but we need to do that by December,.
Please give if you can https://t.co/vxlySOgRnA
@RasberryRazz A truly classy lady and a wonderful, dignified and moving speech.
She was also a truly marvellous actress and her performances in a variety of genres still come across as fresh and modern. They havenβt dated a jot.
A crying shame she never won an Oscar.
@hazelflag I think itβs one of the best comedies of the 60s. Was obviously a big hit at the time but doesnβt get the respect it deserves anymore when itβs infinitely better than many of the films of this vintage that do.
All four actors are sublime and Natwick should have won the Oscar.
@DannyDrinksWine The final 20 minutes are truly masterfully directed - suspenseful, steadily paced and surprising. Overall the film is just good, but the heist is great and those final 20 minutes are indeed the work of an expert director.
