We have (finally!) produced #OpenData set for PCCP 24 (2022) 8645-8660, https://t.co/m44CxcOqJT, Fig 4, which e.g. shows the effect of #ALDep GPC on penetration depth (thickness profile).

More #OpenScience from @aaltocatalysis! Today the #DReaMALD (DReaM-ALD) code was published, as promised in PCCP 24 (2022) 8645, https://t.co/m44CxcOqJT.

The good thing about the #installationtalk was that I needed to have a photo taken, again.
If anyone needs a photo of me, here is straight from the material bank of @aaltouniversity, taken by Mikko Raskinen. (Cropping can be good :) . )
Highlight of the day! Lunch with Tuomo #Suntola and participants in my (first-ever) doctoral course on #ALDep (one missing).
So, some #NovemberNetworkingALD this year, too, even when I was unable to organize a bigger event (as too many things to do). @AaltoCatalysis#AaltoCHEM
29 Nov — This year, no ”November Networking” at Aalto University. But, my tenured professor’s installation talk is out!
Watch here, how Catalysis meets atomic layer deposition in my research at #aaltouniversity. #installationtalks#ALDep#catalysis

COOLCAT experimentalists and computational researchers together after a project group meeting in Jyväskylä. Thanks @CompCatJYU for hosting us & for the nice collaboration! #C1value@SuomenAkatemia
Here, a great example from @BentGroup of cautious social media usage: posters, with (presumably unpublished) scientific contents covered with white boxes in the images.
I will bring this up with my students: one should carefully think what to share.

@Andrew_Akbashev ...Thing is: I have continuously too many tasks & too little time.
I decided that I will prioritize in my time use those who I committed to support, that is, those who are in my group now. I continuously have too little time for them, too.
I feel good with this decision.
My photos from the #aaltouniversity#installationtalks - oh wow! (Credit: Aalto University / Mikko Raskingn)
The group photo looks actually like - a school class photo 😀!
Let's see when the video is ready to share - will go to Aalto Youtube.

Today was the day of #aaltouniversity#installationtalks, and I received my certificate for tenured professor (still ”associate professor”, for clarity).
My talk on ”catalysis meets #ALDep” was recorded and will be shared later.
Great day it was - but I’m happy it is behind!
New paper out! Appl. Catal. B: Arandia et al. “Effect of atomic layer deposited zinc promoter on the activity of copper-on-zirconia catalysts in the hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to methanol”. https://t.co/bx9iRK6yUw. Thanks for all coauthors for this fruitful collaboration!
All right, this starts to take shape (& it's time...). To be presented at #aaltouniversity#installationtalks on Wed 26.10.2022. #AaltoCHEM

From Haukka et al.: https://t.co/r2GyY8qorL:
"Active catalysts for a variety of reactions have been processed by the ALE method [10-13]." (ALE = atomic layer epitaxy)
Interesting. I knew of some early patens, but actually had not recognized these. #ALDep#ALDepChat
19th Nordic Symposium on Catalysis is happily over (6.-8.6.). Not much tweeting during the event... there is so little time, when you are the organizer! Some stats here.
Plenaries by Centi and @BWeckhuysen were great. Videos perhaps to come later.
