In Pakistan, the law is apparently only for ordinary citizens.
For the elite and politically connected, firing automatic weapons in public… in front of police and official vehicles, is treated like a VIP hobby, not a criminal offence.

Imagine the response if an ordinary citizen had done this.
The entire state machinery would’ve descended within minutes.

This is not “rule of law”… this is feudal privilege wrapped in state protection.

Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) has urged the government to initiate recovery of outstanding dues from Etisalat related to the 2005 privatisation of PTCL.

However, the govt’s position remains quite paradoxical. Projecting peace abroad but acting as a tyrant at home.
