Curiouser and curiouser
As @DamianHastie points out, in 2015 the US depts of Commerce, State + Transport launched an inquiry into whether Etihad were receiving govt subsidies
Etihad statement to commission was:
"The assertion that the Abu Dhabi government paid for Etihad's sponsorship of English Premier League football club Manchester City is … false. In 2011, Etihad and Manchester City entered into a 10-year sponsorship agreement, which included naming rights for Manchester City's stadium. Etihad funded this sponsorship from its own liquidity’
Eithad Airways was not mentioned a single time in the entire published document.
The Etihad statement also refers to a Premier League commission - it is an independent commission.
Make no mistake, this is Manchester City’s owners fighting without their names attached and it’s again, very illegal.
The last part is why. Realistically, Dana does not bring anything to the table for this fight, he's just gonna get free money to "be involved".
But he pisses Eddie Hearn off, and that's what Fury is after.
I fucking hate this prick. It’s great that *now* he realises he has to adapt, after ruining our lives for over a year with his shit football. Can someone tell his fanboys that even Amorim is aware he fucked up at United, so maybe now they can accept that fact too? 😂
rashford should definitely be doing better, but why is he always the first name everyone goes for when we play shit? no one else has think pieces being written & “sell him” shouts at half time, despite no one bar the keeper being particularly impressive right now
@leicspolice Hi, well please let these officers know then as this is the third time I’ve seen the same car on the same road illegally parked whilst there was plenty of parking available but ignored over ordering a takeaway with less of a walk. Or is it rules for thee but not for me? Very poor
So the same ref has made the exact same ‘error’ twice now. Both directly benefiting the club thats owner employed him to referee abroad for huge money? 😂
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
VAR is there to stop errors, not create them, the on field decision was offside, you overturned the right decision and gave the wrong one.
The on field decision was offside as well
So VAR has supposedly deemed it clear and obvious that Enzo Fernandez diving across Martinez didn’t tick a single one of these, when it clearly ticked all 4
They definitely want Arsenal to win the league don’t they! 🤣
Feels like since the red card Michael Oliver has spent the whole game compensating for that decision. They’ve explained why it’s a goal and still nobody knows why it’s a goal.
Look, i’ll talk about how mediocre Man Utd were later, frankly, that is an absolutely atrocious decision.
It’s an absolute joke that has been given, Carrick needs to come out and be as furious as Arteta was yesterday.
Challenging an opponent or attempting to play. He did both?
Tuesday: “Carrick’s been hard done by with no defensive signings.”
5 days later: “It’s Carrick’s fault that we’ve conceded 2 screamers & we can’t defend.”
That’s Twitter for you.
