@dhanyarajendran Journalists are in the business of selling entertainment, and the more sordid the details, the more entertainment and eyeballs they get. And journalists know it. It isn't a eureka moment where they realize it like the Buddha that it's wrong. They knew it all along.
@Pruthvinreddy Something fishy with data. Karnataka tops shopping tourism? And TN for overnight. And UP for holidaying. Either respondents played joke on surveyors or surveyors botchedup the sample. #justrandomreport
@arunbothra Driving in the fast lane. Parking on the highway. Every single drive.
These are professionals. They make their living on that road.
So why the fuck is there no awareness drive from the traffic dept? Helmets got one. Seatbelts got one. This kills people too.
@ravihanda@Truecaller Why you need Truecaller? Theyโre just selling your data and phone state details to third parties anyway. Better to just uninstall it. Honestly, Airtel SPAM alert identifier is working way better than Truecaller these days.
@bhaumikgowande It's not a conspiracy, it's incompetence. We keep hunting for a grand design to explain what's really a failure to plan and a failure to enforce the plan.
@Rahul_J_Mathur Forget the money math for a second. UPI was marketed as always free. Shops planned their prices around that. Now the government going back on it's promise. That's not a small fee change. That's breaking a promise. Breaking trust is the real problem, not who pays 0.4%.
@Rahul_J_Mathur Not really. Small merchants already have haggle room built into prices, people bargain off more than 0.4-0.47% just by being pest. Big merchants run tight, fixed margins on high volume. That's who actually feels a flat fee like this, not the small guy. They already modeled cc fee
@ians_india What about the pressure parents put on kids- isn't that just as legitimate a cause? Parents build so much pressure that kids end up thinking it's life or death. Same script as Kota, playing out here too.
@neha_laldas Not the institution. the definition of success. Parents and society made it so narrow that falling short feels as failure at life itself. That's the thing to fix. Kids need breathing room, which is nonexistent in hypercompetitive world.
