Videos of the damage to my Tesla Model X. Car was sitting outside and this happened. A car under full warranty that is now a total loss and Tesla doesn’t care. Gross negligence and customer care on the part of Tesla considering someone could have been seriously injured. $TSLA

My Tesla Model X caught fire/had some type of an explosion January 19th while simply sitting idle outside in my driveway. I came to use my car and the attached pictures are what I saw. Tesla service is telling me they don’t know what happened and are still investigating and it’s been over 10 days now. They have given me no answers. Rather than resolve the incident and make it right, Tesla is instead telling me it’s an insurance issue and to contact my insurance company. My car is still under full warranty and I thought cars exploding out of nowhere would be something a manufacturers warranty covers. Fortunately my 9 year old son or no one else was in the car when this happened but someone could have been seriously injured. Yet Tesla is not taking this seriously and is giving me the workaround and not doing anything about resolving this. $TSLA
