Podcast reviews be like: "show's great I dunno what that Ahmad guy is about but @gregoryjhickman is the GOAT"
I'll take it though

The bigger you get, the slower you get.
Adding people and processes hinders your ability to turn on a dime.
This is a challenge for impatient founders who want everything done right away (me).
If you struggle with this too, ask yourself:
Is faster always better?
If you want to grow, embrace complexity.
Growth means more variables to consider, more things that could go wrong, more pieces to fit together.
It's moving from checkers to chess.
Resisting this is a death sentence.
Embracing it is the learning opportunity of a lifetime.
Case in point, in my business:
90 days ago: top of funnel lead cost
60 days ago: appointment setter team
30 days ago: closing team
today: appointment setter team (again)
30 days from now (projected): documentation of client case studies (we need to get better at capturing)
Where's your bottleneck?
Easy questions to answer when you're small (it's usually marketing and lead generation sub $1mil).
Way harder to identify as your business grows and things get more complicated.
But it's THE most important question for any Founder/CEO to ask.
Consistency in the LEAD indicator creates consistency in the LAG indicator
Marketing (lead) to revenue (lag)
Exercise (lead) to physical fitness (lag)
Nutrition (lead) to overall health (lag)
Attention (lead) to strong relationships (lag)
Etc
You have the power to talk yourself in to or out of just about anything.
Human beings are masters of rationalization.
Therefore, spend more time emotionally and energetically aligning yourself with what you want.
The right logic will follow without much effort.
