🏇 The trainer’s explanation was accepted by the steward / A montage of the latest ancient ruins / Chorused by a soundtrack of you don’t know what you’re doing
Willie is absolutely taking the piss. You LOVE to see it.
A 1/6 shot at Ludlow: “apparently it’s a unique lay out of a track” 😂
Two odds on shots at Perth: “so anyway, here we are at Perth” 😂
🤠 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻!
🏴🏆 As he continues his quest to win the British trainers' title our columnist @WillieMullinsNH looks back on a great weekend in Ayr and ahead to the meeting at Perth.
Surrey 2/1 to win the County Champ with SkyBet is tempting, but…away to Lancs first game and lots of bad weather around. They might go out after a couple of weather affected weeks to 9/4 or even 5/2. I’ll wait.
Christ. If Dr Newland is regarded as a shrewd trainer who lands pots by out-thinking other British trainers…British racing really is fucked. The average British trainer must be thick as bricks if they’re getting out-thought by him.
Corach Rambler’s going off as short as Tiger Roll for the repeat, isn’t he…and I’m not sure you can argue! Some horse. Laughed at some of those Graded horses there didn’t he 😂
Each way punts with bookies paying 3 places in the novice chases that look decent value. 6 runners in both races I reckon.
Djelo 25/1 Turners
Broadway Boy 10/1 BANC
American Mike 12/1 BANC
Martin Greenwood and his team are spot on. If you want to plot up a horse, fine, but if you take the piss, you’ll get absolutely hammered. The whining is pathetic, frankly.
All these pundits putting Trelawne up for the Ultima…did you watch him at Wetherby?!
Sure, he’s clearly talented, but you’d want a massive price on him on the Old Course at Cheltenham, surely? What if he doesn’t want to turn left again?
An excellent Cheltenham megasite on @AtTheRaces and delighted to contribute with the usual Festival Edges.
Retweets very much appreciated.

Are the @RPWeekender making a joke here, or are they serious?
Sure, Evan Williams is a terrific target trainer, but he makes use of a bigger handbrake than JP McManus!
@BillEsdaile@UnibetUK Thanks. If First Street isn’t totally gone at the game he’s got a right chance in the Coral Cup off that mark. Needs a trip now. Hendo loves sticking a good’un in there, often with a good result
People saying “you don’t know where Ballyburn is going”. True. Of course not. But I know that the Mystical Power/Ballyburn or the Tullyhill/Ballyburn doubles pay a hell of a lot more one way round than the other. Worth a punt for sure.
