Dear everyone,
This is Dunk.

I recently received a message from Phuwin regarding the misunderstanding over a cropped photograph of me.

The image originated from a magazine photoshoot and was subsequently edited and cropped in a manner that created an unintended impression. It was intended as a two-slide presentation featuring each of us individually.

I would like to clarify that Phuwin had no intention of cropping me out of the picture. We remain friends and colleagues. I therefore ask that no unfavourable conclusions be drawn about him or me.

in the end we are JoongDunk’s family and cause of that we are also a family to one another. after everything the people who are still here will be the ones who continue to stand by their side love them and walk alongside them. so no matter what happens please remember to love yourselves first. let’s try to be a little gentler with one another and a little more understanding. we won’t always be able to understand each other’s thoughts and feelings. sometimes even people within the same family can disagree, get hurt or struggle to understand one another. but before we blame each other or say words that might hurt one another, please give each other a little more time and think a few more times before speaking. we can disagree and we can see things in completely different ways but those differences don’t have to become a reason for us to hurt each other. after everything all i hope is that we can continue to treat one another with kindness. cause we have been here together loving the same people and going through so many things together. there may still be times when we don’t understand each other but i hope we will always choose to be a little gentler with one another. i love you all so much. truly so much. let’s stay here together for a very long time continuing to love them while also remembering to love ourselves. and no matter what happens i hope this will always be a place where we can come back to with peaceful hearts

Joong said he doesn't deserve us, but honestly? It's us who don't deserve him.

He wears his heart on his sleeve. He gives so much of himself, and somehow people still keep demanding more from him. More interaction. More recognition. More “cute moments.” More proof that he cares.

And I'm fucking tired of it.

The SAME people who were dragging Joong and Dunk, saying they didn't care about their fans, insisting they needed to “give feedback,” are suddenly crying, “Don't cry,” “Stay together forever,” and talking about how much they love them.

Do you actually hear yourselves?

Do you understand that your words fucking hurt them?

You cannot spend days telling two people that they don't care, that they aren't doing enough, that they aren't giving you enough attention, and then suddenly expect them to feel nothing when you turn around and tell them how much you love them.

You don't get to demand emotional reassurance from people while completely ignoring their emotions.

Why don't you believe in them?

Why don't you trust them?

They have repeatedly shown you who they are and told you what they need. Yet somehow, every time they don't behave exactly how you want, you decide they must not care. You question them. You complain. You demand explanations. You tag them in the negativity. And then you act shocked when they're tired and fed up with it.

They see it.

Stop pretending they don't.

They see the posts. They see the tags. They see the constant complaints and the accusations. They see the people who claim to love them tearing apart everything they do because it isn't enough for them.

And then you wonder why they seem exhausted.

This isn't about “feedback” anymore when you've already been told how much this negativity hurts them. At some point, you have to take responsibility for your own behaviour.

Joong and Dunk are HUMAN BEINGS. They don't exist to constantly reassure you, entertain you, acknowledge you, or perform the relationship you have created in your head.

Their lives do not revolve around satisfying your expectations.

If you genuinely love them, start acting like it.

Listen to them. Believe them. Trust them. Respect their boundaries.

Because if your version of “support” requires two people to constantly prove that they love and appreciate you, then maybe you need to stop and ask yourself who you're actually supporting.

They deserve better than conditional love.

They deserve better than fans who only love them when they're getting exactly what they want.

And most importantly, they deserve to feel safe enough to be honest with the people who claim to love them.

👩🏻: as a mom … mae so proud of you Joong. mae’ve always seen how you do everything with your whole heart and with genuine sincerity. as your mom … mae also wish mae could support you even more as much as mae possibly can. sometimes mae quietly wonder if perhaps mae raised you to be too strong to the point that you’ve become someone who carries so much on your oơn. you take care of mae you take care of your younger siblings and you take care of everyone around you. with so many things you’re the one who takes responsibility and handles everything yourself. mae see everything you know. even though sometimes mae may not say it out loud. if mae could ask for one thing mae wouldn’t ask for much. mae only wish that from now on my son will get to meet good things and good people too just as you have always given good things and done good things for others. mae hope the world will be a little kinder to my son too. mae so proud of you Joong

this is serious now it has reached a point where it's not a joke anymore that he had to stand up at a fanmeet with his voice breaking almost shaking crying trying to explain that yes every project we make matters to him it breaks my heart.

thinking they didn't value the projects just because they didn't take a picture seems horrible to me because all of you know the kind heart they have and that he would never in a million years unappreciate a single project, i hope you save this video because seeing him cry like this broke me it's one of the worst things i've ever seen
