Choosing not to attend an unpaid work event doesn't reveal the absence of loyalty. It reflects the presence of other priorities.
If team-building, dinners, and parties are part of the job, they should be compensated.
Otherwise, attendance should be an option, not an obligation.
Things that Schools should teach: 🧠
• Being wrong is not a bad thing.
• It's Okay to question what you have been taught.
• Grades aren't as valuable as skills.
• Understanding is more important than memorization.
• Making mistakes is Okay. Learn from your mistakes.
Teach your children that not knowing something is not a bad thing, it is an opportunity to learn something.
Teach them that making mistake is not failure, it's the first step to understanding.
Educate yourself about things. Study hard what interests you the most. Don't worry about what others think of you, that's none of your business. Train your mind to think, doubt, and question. That's how you grow. 🧠
