"The Emperor of NES Speedrunning" - Overswarm. Creator of The 100 Most Prolific NES Speedrunners list, to celebrate competition and achievement in speedrunning!
The 2024 Year-In-Review plus normal Jan 2025 update of The 100 Most Prolific NES Speedrunners is here, in case you missed it: https://t.co/xdIHceRUoN
It was a good deal of work to make, but has a lot of fun information about NES Speedrunning included as well.
Join me in running Dudes With Attitude this week! It's a janky little puzzle game for the NES, unlicensed. There are categories for clearing 8 levels, 16 levels, or go for the full game and all 32 levels! Submit every run you do! Submit every run into the IL categories, too!
After 7 years, I've finally done it. 4:54,365, I'm the first ever brazillian to have untied WR in any% of smb1, and it's way better than I ever expected to have it be. HOWEVER, the grind is not over. There are still 6 frames to be saved until I'm done. Stay tuned! :)
The June 2026 Update to the 100 Most Prolific NES Speedrunners is live! Who got to the top spot for the month? Go watch the video! (spreadsheet is in the video description) https://t.co/cPVYCvr8Rt
My playthrough of Zelda II: The Adventure of Mario: https://t.co/fqAQ9mxJYP
A fun romhack that doesn't take itself overly seriously... basically a thought project on how you could play Zelda II with SMB1 mechanics!
(a link to the romhack is in the video description)
When you go through the Taco Bell drive thru and ask specifically for 2 mild sauces, specify no more than 2 mild sauces, and they give you a handful anyway, so you take the handful (minus the 2 you asked for) and just throw them out into their yard.
Skipping stream today to relax a bit; think I've been stressing a bit too much and speedrunning doesn't sound like the cure (and I can't think of anything else I want to do rn). Not sick or anything just taking a breather. Maybe DWR race tonight if it pops up
@BlackGuelph I liked Vic3 initially a lot, but I am more about battle and stuff. EU5's trade, buildings, entire economic system, along with parliament, laws, remodeled estates, and diplomatic set-up all resemble Vic3 but like still have some EU series feeling. But you can automate much of it
@BlackGuelph But yeah, EU5 is like, too deep maybe? It borrows HEAVILY from Victoria 3, so if you hate Vic3 you probably will hate this, too. But the systems are insanely complex and kind of dont mesh the best. And Levies only without standard armies for 50-60 years is just pain.
