I spent considerable time with a friend today who has been on the frontlines fighting Hamas over the last 4 days. He told me firsthand accounts of the horrible things he saw and we talked through the psychological impact of that on him and others in his unit.
I couldn’t help but think that his account of that experience reminded me of the stories and testimony of the heroic Allied soldiers who liberated the concentration camps and discovered the unimaginable cruelty that had been perpetrated there.
Like those soldiers had, he now possesses a moral obligation to bear witness to what took place to once again remind us and our children of the importance of Never Again.
"It turns out, if you ignore all evidence, turn Israel into the villain in your morality play, and insist Americans have a 'responsibility' to do something about Israel, the thing that they will do is beat up American Jews."

@jordanodinsky Gotcha...any ideas of how it could work? It looks like you just snap pics of your mouth for pearlii - which makes sense to me as some dental issues can be diagnosed visually. Not sure how it could work with vision checkups though. @ethansobol any thoughts?
Thank you for all of your incredible recommendations!!! I couldn't have asked for a better outcome and Talia absolutely loved it!! Twitter is amazing ❤️

Twitter, I need your help!
I'm planning a SURPRISE PROPOSAL for my girlfriend. She's an ICU doc on the frontlines in NYC. She's a hero and I want to make this special and memorable but my options are limited given the lockdown. How should I do it?!
@Yair_Rosenberg This is a fantastic initiative!!
Any idea how to sign up a resident to receive these, or is it just for one specific hospital at the moment?
