@JamieMoranUK Sucks it’s not on Xbox too but I see your point. I definitely hope for the best when it comes to Xbox as a fan. I really want to be excited.
“The Jedi live in a dream. A dream they believe everyone shares. If you attack a Jedi with a weapon, you will fail. Steel or laser are no threat to them. But an Acolyte…an Acolyte kills without a weapon. An Acolyte kills the dream.”
This is exactly how Palpatine defeats the Jedi. Not with steel or laser, not in outright war, but subtly, methodically, and without a weapon.
@DiscussingFilm Good. Not going to read the comments because I know they’re filled with people who already made up their mind about this show before even watching it.
@Dr_Zuo@JezCorden@tomwarren Sure it’s not has big as it was in 2007 but Halo still is a successful franchise that is high on the most played games list on Xbox. Many people still play Infinite and MCC all the time. It’s definitely a flagship IP and defines the Xbox brand.
@JezCorden Why cover old ground (especially when there’s already a remaster of CE) when many people have already said they liked Infinite and there’s been high demand for campaign dlc or a new game? A new game seems like the most obvious choice.
@choochoolfc@JezCorden Ideally I wish exclusivity wasn’t a thing so games were more accessible but that’s not the reality of console gaming. It’s why Xbox can’t give Halo.
@JezCorden@tomwarren If Halo goes then Xbox consoles are done for. There’s no doubt about that in my mind which is why I hope this doesn’t happen.
Halo is still a successful franchise. The games still do well and while the show could’ve started much better the 2nd season gained traction.
@JezCorden@Dr_Zuo@tomwarren Regardless of what people think of the show the games have been doing fine. Infinite is still one of the most played games on the Xbox consoles.
@DMC_Ryan Also putting the flagship IP of the Xbox console on the competition doesn’t really help their brand either. I can’t tell what their plan is. Makes it difficult to want to continue to invest.
@WallStreetSilv Back in 1977 Star Wars had fire and sound in space. Why was that not an issue? This is space fantasy. It’s not actually based in science and has never been based in science.
