It's #PrideMonth story time! Once back in high school, my econ teacher was out sick. We had one of those fun subs who was cool with straying from the lesson plan a bit. Somehow, homosexuality came up, and then the bible. He asked, "Any ideas why the old testament forbade it?" 1/8

If like your whole family is sick with -confirmed- Covid, maybe don't send your toddler to daycare? Plot twist everyone saw coming: your kid had it too, exposed/infected their classmates/teachers, and shut the class down for weeks. "We thought it was teething?" 🤨

It's not easy, but do the right things, people. 1) For goodness sake, GET VACCINATED. 2) If you're sick, stay home (everyone!) 3) And realize that with these good things that you can do, you're not only helping others—you're helping yourself, too. #endrant

But that got you, what, one extra day? And you spread that suffering onto so many other people because of it. If they got it, it sucked and who knows how many other people it spread to. For those who didn't, they lost childcare for weeks. This was a microcosm of the pandemic.
