Through four games, I can confidently say two things:
First, the Spurs are technically a better basketball team by a small margin.
Second, the Spurs are the dumber team by an astronomical margin.
Brendan Haywood on where he thinks the downfall for the Spurs started and what Pop said to Tim Duncan in a similar situation:
"New York was going on that run and they just kept taking all those 3s. And I was like, I understand the mindset behind that play..
But you got to understand time and score, you got to understand momentum.
I'll give you a quick story.
I'm playing for the Washington Wizards, we're playing the Spurs. We go on like a quick 10-0 run. Tim Duncan takes a mid-range jumper that's contested by me, and Pop rips him a new one.
'You think we need that shot right now while they're on a 10-0 run? We need to get a good shot.'
That's what the Spurs didn't realise. Hey man, this team's on a run. We might not need that contested 3, we need a good shot, we need a shot right at the rim.. do something to help us get out of this funk..
And then as the game wore on, I saw a young team and I saw a young coaching staff."

The way the Spurs lost both Games 2 and 4 were "I'm gonna quit watching basketball" levels of losses.
Having TWO of those in under a week is legitimately unbelievable.
When the Knicks were coming back into the game, Dylan Harper ruined the momentum and kept the Spurs from blowing the lead.
The last shot Dylan Harper took was with 10:10 in the fourth quarter.
Terrible coaching.
