@netflix “no way to know Dak is gone” other than he’s getting off the ground.
“We’re getting back to old school running backs” as Bill will probably be benched after that TD.
Announcers just saying stuff they think sounds good.
As a Cowboy fan, I’m so tired of having to hear that lame Sunday night song. Can the Cowboys not be on NBC at least for week one for once. I want an 11 am game.
@whedonesque Hoodlums, yes, I mean you and your friends, your whole sex. Throw 'em in the sea for all I care. Throw 'em in and wait for the bubbles. Men, with your groping and spitting. All groin, no brain. Three billion of ya' passin' around the same worn out urge. Men... with your sales.
Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta — the host of tonight's CFP National Championship Game — has the cheapest concessions in sports:
• $2 sodas
• $2 pretzels
• $3 pizza slices
• $5 cheeseburgers
The idea was inspired by the concessions at Augusta National Golf Club, but while other owners thought Arthur Blank was crazy, the idea was actually genius.
The Atlanta Falcons consistently rank first in the NFL’s annual internal survey for food quality, price-to-value ratio, speed of service, and variety.
The Falcons say that the price decrease led to an 88% increase in merchandise sales in the first year.
Fans are now spending 16% more money on concessions than they did a few years ago, and an average of 6,000 more fans enter the stadium two hours before each game.
However, the best indicator that the new model works is that several other professional sports teams have copied it.
From Ryan Smith and the Utah Jazz to Mat Ishbia and the Phoenix Suns, owners across North American professional sports are lowering concession prices for fans.
The idea is that a better gameday experience keeps fans coming back and often leads to the eventual purchase of higher-margin items, like merchandise.
@DukeofDville@crentist_dds@Dan_Ruppert@Jimmjohnson He fired Jimmy after the first 2, roster was so good it won a 3rd despite everything falling apart. Jerry has spent 30 years trying to do it his way and has failed. Bill started to turn things around and he fired him too. Talent’s there, has been. Culture isn’t because of him.
Do i think Alabama is a better team than SMU? Yes. But like Dan Lanning said “if you lose three regular season games? Shame on you.”
The committee got it right.
Wonder if Nick remembers 2019 when Alabama got into the CFP over an undefeated UCF and 12-1 Ohio St. team and Clemson trounced Alabama 44-16 in the Final
