Just found out the creator of CalAI is transitioning into tech to combat doomscrolling. Moreover he's looking to create a hardware solution...

His idea seems more geared towards sleeping and an alarm clock. This tells me I gotta work faster though. This market is massive.

Pretty simple but I got soe basic rotary encoder code working. Just need to clean it up a bit and thats the input hardware fully sorted pretty much.

Today inshallah I want to:

- Get some encoder code working
- Create the basic UI for my project (Using some software called EEZ Studio)
- 3D print some test pieces

I went to UmmahCon recently and got some great feedback.

A few people pushed back and asked why it couldnt just be an app.

I realized that I need be able to clearly explain the merit of my hardware solution. If I can't explain it with conviction, investors wont be convinced.

Using AI to code is so tempting... Until you realize you don't know how anything works, and you're just burning tokens praying the issue fixes before you go broke.

This week Im gonna take time to understand how each of my modules work. Time spent now is time saved later.
