@Callystarr @JazzBabyJa Check out the deseret news article from Sarah, she calls out that LA lowered their offer because Utah accepted the picks and agreed not to match it. Sounds like it was 36ish originally. That was part of what LA paid the price for. Sounds like the situation just changed rapidly.

@JingIesss Yeah I’m getting a kick out of some of these “free” yep free plus all your remaining assets now that your capped out and you don’t have to send a single one of the 3 contracts you want to get off of and can’t now. LA fleeced us I guess they got Walker for Free….

@_MambaForever_ @BensHoops Aren’t they down to vet minimums? Either of those would be huge because although the other signings weren’t bad, I think they need more in order to be a firm top 4 and I don’t think anyone can break out of the west if they are not.

It’s a bet, I hope it works, I’m not sure where that roster lands, can it be top 4 in the west? If it’s not where do they go from here?

@shiesty1trell @BobbyMarks42 Kessler was maybe 4th or 5th key player on that that team (hence why no match) so Utah not as good but still pretty good. By 28 all the core is still on contract or restricted (low picks). If Luka exits in 28 or if this bet doesn’t play & LA still capped out those swaps matter.

@dan4syth9876 @Callystarr I think they can outplay phoenix & Portland. Both have players but the rosters are messy & not complimentary. GSW definitely depends on Bron & spare parts. I wonder about LA if they get all 82 games of their core they might not be bad, if they don’t I think they going to hurt.

@Callystarr A near near full year of JJJ, LM, KG & DP is worth a few win shares but…Im not sure we can get in front of all three of Houston, Minnesota, & Denver. Maybe one or two. Those aren’t bad teams. Our poor questionable rebounding & defense is going to cost a few games.
