Last duty as a Pediatric Junior Consultant in a Level-III DOH training institution that has lone resident. Always thankful and grateful for the experience, learnings and to the wonderful people I met and work with for the past 8 months. Finally, closing this chapter! 👋

I then explained the pros and cons to the parents and eventually consented for intubation. The patient got better. I sometimes re-think my recent choices in life (of me leaving), then I remember my purpose and the reason why I don’t want to totally quit this job.

Intubated a case of a 7-year-old Pneumonia Severe with Cerebral Palsy patient with a 3 weeks history of cough whom parents initially refused for intubation. Received at the PICU gasping and desaturated at 50-70% on high flow. The patient was almost dying.
