Foreign policy: 1) fear divides, often unnecessarily 2) fear WILL increase cost, fear-driven inflation is real 3) whenever there is “us vs them” mindset, everyone loses 4) fear is always on the wrong side of history.
With the new thought assistant (LLM) at your palm, future belongs to those who want to ask questions, dare to ask questions, knows how to ask the right questions.
Humanity is nothing but an evolving System. Individuals & families are Sub-Systems. The purpose of life is to solve a relevant & large problem for a System during one’s Time, and get rewarded for it spiritually or monetarily. What is your intended System & problem? Happy 2025.
As AI power law continues, AI will be a better innovator, inventor, investor, founder than us — in anything that sits on the cloud & doesn’t require hard work.
Innovation is dead. At least anything cloud related. Long live innovations. At least for non-cloud. Time to change.

Sadly, 100% agree with A16Z’s view that the ’20-24 administration bullied small innovators & tech startups with this “assumes guilty until proven innocent” attitude. This was obvious from 2020z This outcry is really just 4 years too late.
@elonmusk Some of the most effective government(s) — Singapore at one point, Japan, China — government acts as a VC. Why shouldn’t the US government do the same? A $bn VC fund that invests in startups solving the “rising cost” problem for consumers boosts jobs, productivity.
@elonmusk@elonmusk actually 🤔 you can afford to create a $100bn VC fund and invest in 100K startups $1m each. I forgot that’s your scale. Forget the government.
Fed in Washington DC has been putting so much scrutiny and constraints on smaller banks, largely preventing them from innovating in the name of “conservatism”, when it’s the larger bank failures that has the greatest impact: Lehman and SVB. What a shame.
“The Fed also plays a major role in monitoring banks. As a state-chartered institution, SVB also would have been subject to examinations by California regulators. A spokesman for the Fed declined to comment.” - https://t.co/59Uyd5B4jR
Probably need to take a closer look at what happened to the balance sheet from the bank reports, beyond the facade posted just 48 hours prior: https://t.co/LuYJYuvPkc
The current public narrative around SVB is not whole. The FDIC and regulators should have the full story, which hasn’t being revealed to the public. Maybe in time.
Banks have other liquidity levers: FHLB loans, brokered deposits. Math doesn’t add up.

There are 2 paths to success:
- Be Top 1% in the world at 1 thing
- Be Top 25% in the world at 3 things
Top 25% is achievable by most people.
The problem is most people focus on being Top 1%.
Work on combining “3 pretty goods” and stay at it.
It’ll pay off big.
