There has not been enough Abby in The Last of Us season two.
The audience is meant to reluctantly be getting to know her character a little and noticing her humanity, yet instead, she's completely absent and not giving the audience any other reason than to see her as a monster.
@yorkpress@ChristiGabbitas Stealing art from artists is a genuine problem, too, yet this writer you're giving time to doesn't care about their work and would rather have a robot rip-off that work for cheaper and lesser quality product.
Looks like local councils are happily spending your tax money on AI art for a comic/graphic novel production.
Some very sugar-coated responses to me from the writer in this thread.
If I'm wrong, GREAT!
... I don't know that I am, though.
@DungeonsJoypads Art is meant to be romanticised.
Art is nothing like self-service in Tesco. Art has individuality in its production. There is creativity that goes into it.
Packing bags is just packing bags.
Are you that dense?
@DungeonsJoypads AI should be used for monotonous work like running equations, not for creative output.
The whole idea behind art is it's expressive, thought, love, and effort go into producing it.
Typing "draw an attractive white boy with a necklace that doesn't fall correctly" isn't creative.
@ChristiGabbitas@NBBCouncil@WarwickshirePCC@asthmalunguk@initcreative1@PenguinActing Sounds like a very long-winded yes.
β’ If yes, you should be embarrassed.
β’ If not, great.
Please answer without the sugar-coating.
AI has no place in comic/graphic novel production, and anyone associated with it will be looked down on immensely by that entire industry.
@MrRiktus Been looking out for the new release on shipping lists for a while and wondering if I missed it. Sad to not be able to complete the full story in singles, but glad you'll get to finish the story out.
Didn't IDW do this for Earthdivers' final two issues, too, though?
