@bgurley Your @tferriss episode nailed what I built: OGF AI, the OS for indie filmmakers. Proprietary data + real workflows (scripts, contracts, festivals, financing, distribution) in one login. The "deep vertical OpenAI won't crush." Would love to show you!
@tferriss (content warning) but I thought you’d appreciate this. It’s the perfect video highlighting your viewpoint on how creators can become their audience, from a guy with 3.5M YT subs.

Hey, #TVD fans, here’s a proof of concept for a new vampire film starring yours truly! Give it a like or RT if you want to see it made!

Your film career isn’t stagnant because somebody won’t give you a chance, it’s stagnant because you’re unwilling to make the film you could make right now.
Brutal story about Hollywood: I directed a dozen short films and not one of them ever got any traction, none of them got into any festivals (other than a few ones that nobody attended), and they also failed to get any traction or views on Youtube.
So, I made a no budget feature
6. BONUS TIP - Bookend.
The first 5 minutes and the last 15 minutes should get extra attention. Because your film doesn’t have Matt Damon on the cover, you have to do extra to earn your audience’s trust. Hook them in 5 min, and keep them hooked.
5. Minimal VFX/SFX
If you need to rely on VFX, or SFX keep them minimal. Find your top 2 scenes and remove the rest. Getting these done right is expensive and getting them done cheaply loses the audience.
