However I don't find either one of these to be away Marvel would write a script I think the more plausible possibility is Thor has the ability to steer the bifrost while in flight. Its not hard to notice gigantic spaceship in orbit and directed them to the battlefield in Wakanda.

There still one question and I have from Infinity War: how did Thor know to open the bifrost to Wakanda. To me this seems like a really large plot hole.

Maybe Stormbreaker doesn't have the ability to see everything maybe it has the ability take you to where you desire. So thor didn't think take me to Earth in Infinity War he thought take me to Banner. If this is the case then the same is true if you just think take me to Tony.
