Happy sad girl/boy day to all the fellow kids with dead dads today. Death dates and birthdays are really hard but something about the entire country celebrating a day you no longer can and being reminded of it in every store and advertisement and post makes the grief inescapable. Personal anniversary dates don’t come with so many outward reminders of what’s been lost. I hope you all find peace somehow today. I am trying my best.
