@Isaac4luek He’s very average mate. He has very skilful ‘moments’ and fans use that to rate his overall quality as a player,when in actual fact over 90mins I rarely have seen him have a good game.Not good enough and never will be. It speaks volumes that there is so little interest in him.

@benmood34178051 @AnfieldLounge It’s essentially the complete opposite to szobozslai at 10, he would come back to support the two 8’s, the system now has the two 8’s bombing forward to support Wirtz at 10. I have high hopes for Iraola but 1 midfielder is an absolute minimum.

@benmood34178051 @AnfieldLounge Alex Scott and Tyler adams have a bucket load more aggression and willingness to win the ball back than either of our midfielders. It just won’t work without a proper 6, it’s that simple. Our midfield fragility will be more obvious than it was under slot.

@benmood34178051 @AnfieldLounge Szobozslai at 10 gave us an extra body in the middle out of possession , he’s not the most aggressive but he’s excellent at tracking back. Wirtz won’t provide the same support to the midfield. Which is fine, but not when nobody is prepared to sit in front of the back 4.

@liverpxxl9 The thing is he’s the best of a bad bunch, I’d like to see him on the right, tracking back to make an extra midfielder when out of possession. The reason he’s not mentioned is because Mac allister jones and g’berch are all tragically poor.

@DanLFC1_ He was never the player people thought he was. Good technique don’t get me wrong, I’d have him on my team for a crossbar challenge, unfortunately not blessed with the body of an athlete. Needs to go to serie a or la liga.

@jenks2026 @LFCLaurie His ability to pass it to the opposition is even better. Not having him, not as an option,not yet. Szobozslai is the only one in the centre of the park who is good enough. Two top quality CM’s short, of that there can be absolutely no doubt.
