At the Academy Museum. Now watching Get on the Bus, an underseen but top-tier Spike Lee joint.

Oh, we can talk Ray Gunn now. It rocks! I was already sold on Brad Bird doing a retro future-set noir starring Sam Rockwell, Tom Waits, and Scarlett Johansson. On top of that, it’s a film contending with art, the use of AI, and race relations. Plus - jetpacks and Giacchino!

Burn baby burn!

@spetersaunders There always are. I try to find the harder routes.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

Avoiding Disney IP is the real challenge.

Florence Pugh in The Commuter with Liam Neeson. Neeson in Non-Stop with Lupita Nyong'o.

Connect these actors in Six Degrees or less: Florence Pugh 👉 Lupita Nyong'o 🎃 Aughts Auteurs #cinephilegame expansion pack is available now.

@Mark_Hobin Almost too accurate.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@billbria @beetkid I dunno, but soccer trophies for everyone can't be the answer.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@billbria @beetkid It's a major studio movie with an A-list star tracking to open really well this weekend (get ready for "Other Mommies"). Where's this support for...I dunno Leviticus, Exit 8, Hokum, that Verbinski movie, or I Love Boosters?

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@ReelTalker @bykitstone Honestly, I have been waiting to see more responses from Black women about the film. It's overstuffed with subplots, for sure (so much so that I'm considering the dreadful phrase "shoulda been a miniseries"), but I wonder if Rock needs a co-writer or someone else to direct...?

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@beetkid @lheurude Certainly, and anyone can enjoy any film. I'm glad you clearly got more out of it than I did. And I do like my fair share of nonsense movies; this one just didn't do anything for me.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

I didn’t think I’d see a movie worse than Verity in theaters so soon, but Other Mommy…hoo boy.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@beetkid @lheurude I mean, the bar for success isn't whether it's award-worthy, just whether it satisfies its premise. I don't think it gets close to meeting it, and, if anything, the trailer more than represents what the film aims to accomplish, as it just repeats that beat over and over.

[Aaron "30 Days Of" Neuwirth 💀👻🎃(㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ) @AaronsPS4]

@billbria And sometimes I think I'm too easy and accepting of movies.
