This is what journalists with ethics, integrity and even an elementary understanding of international law will call an illegal invasion and occupation.
As I’ve stated before, this was never about Hezbollah or security. This is a land and resources grab, decades in the making. Israel has not stopped the attacks, and as I type this, there is an armed Israeli drone buzzing over the city.
I sincerely hope to see my colleagues, especially the ones with correspondents based in Beirut (I’m looking at you @BBC@NPR@IrishTimes@Reuters ) who have been in the field witnessing the acts of genocide committed by the Israeli army, just like I have, finally call this out for what it is.
Remember what happened to propagandists after WWII.
over 20% of Lebanon is under Israeli occupation. A genocide is still happening in Gaza. Sudan is enduring the world’s largest humanitarian and displacement crisis. Over millions of people have been displaced in Congo. Do not stop talking about countries that are suffering.
lebanese promposals have become so ridiculous bitch we’re in a war, people are dying, and y’all are putting dollars on a night that won’t even be that memorable anyways
“Jesus told us to forgive our killers, but this is too much”
Heartbreaking moments from the funeral of Theodosia Karam, her brother Tony and their father James in Qlayaa, southern Lebanon. James was driving his children home from their exams when an Israeli drone killed them
after withstanding two and a half months of war, the occupation ordered the evacuation of Aanqoun, located in the saida governorate, 70+ km away from the border, during a so called “ceasefire”.
Aanqoun sheltered over 2500 of the displaced who are now forced to relocate yet again
Israel has already broken the ceasefire in Lebanon by launching several attacks. The drone is hovering at low altitude over many areas. Photo is from Nabatieh.
i feel so tired and depressed lately and i look like life was sucked out of my body. i cant tell if i’m actually living and walking or not
what is this feeling?
At work. Tired. Israeli drone buzzing outside my window. Israeli threats on half this fuckass country. Boss up my ass. Unmoisturized. Bothered. Outside my lane. Why are we here
