Do you know what's one of the worst things about the World Cup? Every four years, people who barely watch football suddenly become experts. They don't know the rules, they know very little about football, yet they want to have an opinion on every single decision and every play 😂

After the Argentina vs Egypt game, social media has been unbearable. So many people are angry, but for reasons that have nothing to do with football. Some supported Egypt simply because they're Arabs, others because they're Muslims. Others started attacking Argentina because they believe the country is "Zionist" due to its president. When did people start believing that a country's government reflects the views of every single citizen? Governments do not represent the opinions of an entire country or every individual living in it and since when did football become about politics? Yet, do you know what's actually funny? Those same creatures support countries with well known Zionist leaders, like many European countries and even worse, they'll die supporting their own current Arab leaders, many of whom they themselves being Zionists! Then there are those who blindly believe everything they see online and suddenly label Messi a Zionist without any evidence. Football has turned into political propaganda for them.

You also have people claiming every Argentine including Messi is racist because of the actions of a few individuals. Every country has good people and bad people. Judging an entire nation of millions by the actions of a handful of idiots makes no sense. Ironically, many of those same people have no issue supporting countries like Portugal, Spain, England, France, Germany etc. that have also had many racism incidents.

And then there's the PR7 cult, the creatures with lowest IQ on earth, and many literally cheer for Cristiano for the wrong reasons not related to football. They spread misinformation and propaganda simply because they can't accept Messi being the greatest footballer ever.

At the end of the day, none of this is really about politics, religion or race. Those topics are just being used as excuses to attack Messi. Social media has become a place where misinformation spreads faster than facts and too many people believe anything they read without doing even five minutes of research.
