Tons of great resources out there for ELA distance learning: EdPuzzle, Newsela, CommonLit, ReadWriteThink, and so many more. These are uncertain times, for sure, but at least we can try to keep students engaged while at home!

Got things prepared for after the closure due to COVID-19. Reading a novel AND the Diary of Anne Frank play. Excited to teach about the Holocaust and the untold stories of the other victims, the story of Russia.

It's been a bit Twitter! Student teaching is difficult, but also so rewarding, and I learn so much each day. Book report coming up: a menu! Choose an app, entree, and dessert to make a meal out of your book. Super excited!

preparing for my first observation, where I will be introducing a new unit on identity and becoming an adult. Going to use identity circles and have students reflect on them at the end of the unit. Super excited! #studentteacher
