دہشت گردی کے خلاف حالیہ کامیاب کارروائیوں پر پاکستان کی بہادر سیکیورٹی فورسز اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔ خیبر پختونخوا اور بلوچستان میں انٹیلی جنس کی بنیاد پر کارروائیوں کے دوران 49 دہشت گردوں کا خاتمہ ایک بڑی کامیابی اور دشمن کے نیٹ ورکس کے خلاف مؤثر کارروائی ہے۔

ہمارے بہادر جوانوں کی جرات، پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت اور قربانیاں پوری قوم کے لیے باعثِ فخر ہیں۔ اسلحہ، گولہ بارود، دھماکا خیز مواد اور آئی ای ڈی آلات کی برآمدگی بھی قابلِ تحسین کامیابی ہے۔

عزمِ استحکام کے تحت دہشت گردی کے مکمل خاتمے تک یہ جدوجہد جاری رہنی چاہیے۔ اپنے بہادر جوانوں کو سلام پیش کرتا ہوں جو وطن کے امن و سلامتی کے لیے ہر لمحہ قربانی دینے کے لیے تیار ہیں۔

I commend Pakistan’s brave Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies for their recent successes against terrorism. The elimination of 49 terrorists through intelligence-driven operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan is a major blow to hostile terrorist networks.

I pay tribute to our brave personnel for their courage, professionalism and sacrifices in defending Pakistan. The recovery of weapons, ammunition, explosives and IED equipment is another significant achievement.

Under Azm-e-Istehkam, the fight against terrorism must continue with unwavering resolve until this menace is completely eliminated.

Our brave forces deserve the nation’s highest respect and appreciation.

مستونگ کے علاقے کھڈ کوچہ میں باغ کے مقام پر ہونے والے دھماکے میں کم از کم چھ افراد کے شہید اور تین کے زخمی ہونے کی خبر انتہائی افسوسناک اور قابلِ مذمت ہے۔

معصوم انسانی جانوں کا ضیاع ایک قومی سانحہ ہے۔ زخمیوں کی جلد اور مکمل صحتیابی کے لیے دعاگو ہوں، جبکہ شہید ہونے والے افراد کے اہلِ خانہ سے دلی تعزیت اور ہمدردی کا اظہار کرتا ہوں۔

دہشت گردی اور تشدد کے ہر واقعے کے خلاف پوری قوم متحد ہے۔ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو دھماکے کی مکمل اور جامع تحقیقات کرتے ہوئے اس کی نوعیت اور حالات کا تعین کرنا ہوگا، ذمہ دار عناصر کی نشاندہی کرکے انہیں بلا تاخیر قانون کے کٹہرے میں لانا ہوگا۔

اللہ تعالیٰ شہداء کے درجات بلند فرمائے، لواحقین کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے اور زخمیوں کو جلد صحتِ کاملہ نصیب فرمائے۔ آمین۔

I am deeply saddened by the news of at least six people losing their lives and three others being injured in an explosion at an orchard in Khad Kocha, Mastung.

The loss of innocent lives is a national tragedy. I pray for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured and extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.

The entire nation stands united against terrorism and violence in all forms. The law enforcement agencies must thoroughly investigate the blast, establish its nature and circumstances, identify those responsible, and ensure that they are brought to justice without delay.

May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs, grant patience and strength to their bereaved families, and bless the injured with a swift and complete recovery. Ameen.

On this Independence Day, I pay tribute to all those whose courage, struggle and sacrifices, guided by unwavering faith, made the dream of Pakistan a reality.

Pakistan is more than a country on a map. It is the fulfilment of a great dream, a long struggle and countless sacrifices. It represents the determination and faith of those who dreamed of a homeland where they could live with freedom, dignity and honour. Protecting the values of that hard earned legacy and building a brighter future for Pakistan is now our shared responsibility.

The true strength of Pakistan has always been its people. When we stand united, respect our differences and place the national interest above personal interests, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

I believe our future will be stronger when our young people have the opportunity to move forward and lead, when women have their rightful place in national development and leadership, and when every citizen has equal access to justice, dignity, security and prosperity.

May Pakistan continue to move forward with confidence, unity and purpose, and may every citizen have the opportunity to contribute to its progress. May Allah Almighty bless our homeland with peace, stability, prosperity and lasting unity.

آج یومِ آزادی کے موقع پر میں اُن تمام عظیم ہستیوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جن کی جدوجہد، قربانی اور غیر متزلزل یقین نے پاکستان کے قیام کو ممکن بنایا۔

پاکستان محض نقشے پر ایک ملک کا نام نہیں، بلکہ ایک عظیم خواب، طویل جدوجہد اور بے شمار قربانیوں کی تعبیر ہے۔ یہ اُن عظیم ہستیوں کے عزم اور یقین کی علامت ہے جنہوں نے آزادی، عزت اور وقار کے ساتھ زندگی گزارنے کے لیے ایک آزاد وطن کا خواب دیکھا۔ اُن کی قربانیوں سے حاصل ہونے والے اس وطن کی اقدار کی حفاظت اور اس کے روشن مستقبل کی تعمیر اب ہماری مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہے۔

پاکستان کی اصل طاقت ہمیشہ اُس کے عوام رہے ہیں۔ جب ہم متحد ہو کر اپنے اختلافات کا احترام کرتے ہیں اور ذاتی مفادات سے بالاتر ہو کر قومی مفاد کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں تو ہمارے لیے ترقی کی کوئی حد نہیں رہتی۔

میرا یقین ہے کہ ہمارا مستقبل اسی وقت مضبوط ہوگا جب ہمارے نوجوانوں کو آگے بڑھنے اور قیادت کرنے کے مواقع ملیں گے، ہماری خواتین کو قومی ترقی اور قیادت میں اُن کا جائز مقام حاصل ہوگا، اور ہر شہری کو انصاف، عزت، تحفظ اور خوشحالی کے یکساں مواقع میسر ہوں گے۔

قومی اقلیتی دن — 11 اگست

قومی اقلیتی دن کے موقع پر میں پاکستان کی تمام اقلیتی برادریوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں، جنہوں نے وطنِ عزیز کی تعمیر و ترقی میں ہمیشہ قابلِ قدر کردار ادا کیا ہے۔

قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کے وژن کے مطابق میرا پختہ یقین ہے کہ پاکستان میں ہر شہری کو بلاامتیاز مذہب، عقیدے یا شناخت مساوی حقوق، آزادی، عزت اور تحفظ حاصل ہونا چاہیے۔

ہماری اقلیتی برادریاں پاکستان کی قومی وحدت اور تنوع کا اہم حصہ ہیں۔ ایک مضبوط، متحد، پُرامن اور خوشحال پاکستان کی تعمیر ہم سب کی مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہے۔

National Minorities Day — 11 August

On National Minorities Day, I pay tribute to all minority communities of Pakistan for their invaluable contributions to the nation’s progress and development.

In accordance with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision, I firmly believe that every citizen of Pakistan, regardless of religion, faith or identity, must enjoy equal rights, freedom, dignity and protection.

Our minority communities are an integral part of Pakistan’s national unity and diversity. Building a strong, united, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan is our shared responsibility.

کیپٹن حمزہ اکرم شہید کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتا ہوں، جنہوں نے ضلع ہنگو میں دہشت گردوں کے خلاف انٹیلی جنس بیسڈ آپریشن کے دوران وطن کے لیے فرض کی ادائیگی میں اپنی جان کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔

اسی آپریشن کے دوران 7 دہشت گرد بھی ہلاک کیے گئے۔

ان کی بہادری اور عظیم قربانی کو سلام پیش کرتا ہوں۔ وطن کے دفاع میں ہمارے شہداء کی قربانیاں ہمارے قومی عزم کو مزید مضبوط کرتی ہیں۔

اللہ تعالیٰ شہید کے درجات بلند فرمائے اور اہلِ خانہ کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

I pay my deepest tribute to Captain Hamza Akram Shaheed, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty for Pakistan during an Intelligence-Based Operation against terrorists in Hangu.

Seven terrorists were also eliminated during the operation.

I salute his courage and supreme sacrifice. The sacrifices of our martyrs in defence of Pakistan further strengthen our national resolve.

May Allah Almighty elevate the martyr’s ranks and grant patience and strength to his family. Ameen.

مکہ مشترکہ دفاعی معاہدہ پاکستان، سعودی عرب اور ترکیہ کے درمیان برادرانہ تعلقات اور مشترکہ عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ یہ معاہدہ اجتماعی سلامتی کو مزید مستحکم کرنے، دفاعی تعاون کو فروغ دینے، اور خطے سمیت دنیا میں امن، سلامتی اور استحکام کے فروغ کے لیے تینوں ممالک کے پختہ عزم کا اظہار ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ اس تعاون کو خطے اور پوری دنیا میں امن، سلامتی اور استحکام کا ذریعہ بنائے، اور تمام اقوام کو امن، خیر اور خوشحالی عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement reflects the brotherly ties and shared commitment of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye. It reaffirms the resolve of the three nations to strengthen collective security, enhance defence cooperation, and promote peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.

May Allah Almighty make this cooperation a source of peace, security, and stability for the region and the world, and bless all nations with peace, prosperity, and well-being. Aameen.

@drishratulebad 5 اگست کا اقدام صرف کشمیر پر حملہ نہیں بلکہ پورے پاکستان کی سلامتی اور غیرت پر وار تھا۔ اس وقت کے حکمرانوں کی مجرمانہ خاموشی اور سودے بازی ایک ایسا داغ ہے، جس پر خاموش رہنا اور مجرموں کو معاف کرنا تاریخ سے بے وفائی ہو گی۔

آج، یومِ استحصالِ کشمیر کے موقع پر، ہم 5 اگست 2019 کے اُس غیرقانونی اور یکطرفہ اقدام کی شدید مذمت کرتے ہوئے کشمیری عوام کے ساتھ اپنی غیرمتزلزل یکجہتی کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں، جب بھارت نے آرٹیکل 370 اور 35A کو منسوخ کر کے نہ صرف اقوامِ متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی قراردادوں اور بین الاقوامی قانون کی خلاف ورزی کی، بلکہ کشمیری عوام کو اُن کے تاریخی، آئینی اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق سے بھی محروم کر دیا۔

میں کشمیری عوام کی ثابت قدمی، جرأت مندانہ مزاحمت اور باوقار عزم کو دلی خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔ حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے اُن کی جدوجہد عالمی ضمیر کے لیے ایک مسلسل آزمائش ہے، جبکہ ہماری وابستگی اُن کے جائز حقِ خودارادیت کے ساتھ نہ صرف اصولی بلکہ غیرمتزلزل بھی ہے۔

اب وقت آ چکا ہے کہ عالمی برادری خاموش تماشائی بننے کے بجائے انصاف، انسانی حقوق اور بین الاقوامی ذمہ داریوں کے تقاضوں کے مطابق مؤثر، منصفانہ اور عملی کردار ادا کرے۔ خاموشی ناانصافی کو دوام بخشتی ہے، اور تاریخ خاموشی کو معاف نہیں کرتی۔

Today, on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, we reaffirm our unwavering solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir while strongly condemning India's unlawful and unilateral action of 5 August 2019, when it revoked Articles 370 and 35A in violation of UN Security Council resolutions and international law, thereby depriving the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their historical, constitutional, and fundamental human rights.

I pay heartfelt tribute to the unwavering resilience, courageous resistance, and dignified resolve of the Kashmiri people. Their struggle for the right to self-determination remains a defining test of the world's conscience, and our support for their legitimate cause is not only principled but unwavering.

The time has come for the international community to move beyond silence and fulfill its responsibility by taking meaningful, impartial, and practical action in support of justice, human rights, and international law. Silence sustains injustice, and history does not forgive indifference.

براڈ پیک، گلگت بلتستان میں پیش آنے والے المناک برفانی تودے کے حادثے پر دلی دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کرتا ہوں، جس میں پاکستان سمیت مختلف ممالک سے تعلق رکھنے والے کوہ پیما اپنی زندگیوں سے محروم ہو گئے۔

سوگوار خاندانوں اور متاثرہ ممالک کے عوام و حکومتوں سے دلی تعزیت کا اظہار کرتا ہوں، جبکہ امدادی و بازیابی ٹیموں کی پیشہ ورانہ خدمات اور انتھک کاوشوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔

اللہ تعالیٰ مرحومین کی مغفرت فرمائے، ان کے درجات بلند فرمائے، لواحقین کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

I am deeply saddened by the tragic avalanche on Broad Peak, Gilgit-Baltistan, which claimed the lives of mountaineers from Pakistan and other countries.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, as well as to the governments and people of the affected countries. I also commend the rescue and recovery teams for their professionalism, dedication, and tireless efforts under extremely challenging conditions.

May Almighty Allah grant the departed eternal peace, elevate their ranks, and bless the bereaved families with strength and patience. Aameen.

Speaking to members of Meri Pehchan Pakistan today, I acknowledged Pakistan’s increasingly constructive global role under PM Shehbaz Sharif, and CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. Pakistan’s voice for dialogue, peace and regional stability deserves recognition.
But international relevance cannot compensate for administrative failure at home. Progress abroad must be matched by reform, justice and delivery within Pakistan.

Those resisting new administrative units and structural reforms should leave their political drawing rooms and listen to ordinary citizens. Across Karachi, southern Punjab, interior Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other neglected regions, the verdict is unmistakable: Pakistan’s outdated, over-centralized administrative structure is no longer capable of serving its growing population.

Good governance demands smaller and more efficient administrative units, constitutionally empowered local governments, equitable distribution of resources, institutional reform and ruthless accountability. This is neither an ethnic slogan nor a partisan agenda. It is a national imperative.

Karachi stands as the most painful evidence of systemic failure. The city drives Pakistan’s economy, yet its people are denied clean water, functioning sewerage, safe roads, reliable transport and basic municipal dignity. Karachi cannot continue financing the country while being governed through neglect, fragmentation and excuses.

I am deeply saddened by the condition of MQM-P. It was given years of political space, public mandates and repeated opportunities to deliver. Many of us supported its right to represent Karachi and urged it to use its influence for better governance. Yet the people are still waiting for results.

Yesterday’s violence was disgraceful and unacceptable. Political militancy, intimidation and street power must never again be allowed to hold Karachi hostage. No party can claim to represent citizens while failing to deliver services and tolerating a culture of confrontation.
Karachi does not need recycled slogans, internal power struggles or manufactured crises. It needs water, roads, sanitation, jobs, security and accountable leadership.

Pakistan must reform. Karachi must be empowered. Politics must serve the people—not control, divide or terrorize them.

Karachi needs governance, not guns; results, not rhetoric; leadership, not excuses.
