For those who have wondered what I've been up to this summer, I present: The Cyber Tractor Challenge
https://t.co/2Rhx4OOMk4
Thank you to everyone out there who helped me get so far, and especially thank you to the @defcon community for all of your support!
all badge code should be done or done-ish by now. wrapping up hardware assembly. all the hard parts are done, it's just time consuming stuff remaining.
speaking of parts and assembly, look how many parts exist on the infinite wifi portal... even more aren't pictured lol
another badge from true and Aask is the Infinite WiFi Portal
it has flashy lights, 5x 3D printed components, 3x acrylic components, 2x PCBs... and rushed in less than 1 month lol
what does it do? dunno, we'll see soon
available at con. pickup only preorders by request only rn.
#SuperCon is always such a great experience every year. See friends old and new, all the cool hacks/builds people come up with, learn something new in the vast/neighboring fields of electronics and making I claim no expertise in; RF, space, security. The list goes on.
if you think you’ll be soldering anything at con including our badges, we recommend you bring:
- soldering iron with chisel tip; D16 is good all around size
- decent solder w/ high flux content
- angle tweezers
- flux pen
- loupe
- solder wick
can do almost everything with this
As we ready for another @defcon, I want to let everyone know sadly the @WhiskeyHackers will not have a room this year to hang out, hack, and build badges. Unless someone is able to help with finding a space at the last minute.
Funds are depleted.

This sign hangs above the stairs leading into/out of the hackerspace. Whenever I see it I can’t help but chuckle a little. @801Labs@dc801@defcon#defcon
