For a state where the favorite to become next governor is saying traffic is a lifestyle and that youths should remain with their parents rather than complain about rents, the need for a competent candidate to run is so important.
You're trying to get a state away from a party that has ruled it for over 20 years, least you can do to help your chances is not to have loopholes they can use to discourage the people.
Both sides to this argument aren't entirely wrong though I agree with the fact that governance is what matters more.
He saw what happened last election, least he could have done is prepare well. Not saying be fluent in the language but at least speak it better than how he spoke.
If he worked on it, he will fix a loophole that the main rival party targets. Now he just served into their hands, knowing how tribalistic they can be and how they will milk it.

Walk at least for 20 minutes.
Speak to someone over the phone or physically.
Create goals and try to achieve them. Live for something. If don't live for something, you'll def live for anything.
